DEMOPOLIS †Posey L. Smith, 59, of Demopolis, died March 8, 2008, at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services with military honors were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Demopolis. The Rev. James Woods officiated.
DANVILLE †Harold C. Dennis, 89, died Monday, May 19, 2008, at the Knox Community Hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Knox County to Walter and Ruth L. (Eley) Dennis. On Sept. 28, 1940, he was married to Edna Mae Reiheld.

Mr. Sapp, 73, of Howell, died May 7, 2008, at CentraStateMedical Center, Freehold Township. He was a former owner of Edison Sunoco and retired in 1987 from Krauszer's Dairy, Edison, after 25 years. Mr. Sapp is survived by two sons, Keith Sapp and his wife, Martha, of Columbus and William L. Sapp III of Dover, Del.; a daughter, Karen Krywy of Hampstead, N.C.
